TRAINING “LEADERSHIP IN STRATEGY OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF HO CHI MINH CITY”

 HCMC Institute for Development Studies, in collaboration with The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), has organized training courses on “Leadership In Strategy Of Sustainable Development Of Ho Chi Minh City” to enhance skills and knowledge for leaders and key managers in departments - agencies, districts in the scientific reasoning, in as much as sharing information and views on the challenges for the development of the city in the future.

There were more than 50 trainees who were leaders of departments and districts in the city joined this course.

The training is one of the activities within the framework of the 5-year-project which UN-Habitat are doing in Vietnam.

On the opening of the course, HCMC Vice Chairman Hua Ngoc Thuan said this is an opportunity for the leaders of the city to learn and share experience and capacity of management and applications effectively on tasks in offices or units.

The course took place in 4 days (from December 5 to 12), trainees would be equipped with skills in vision, strategy and action plan, the challenges and opportunities of developing Ho Chi Minh City; focus on green growth, urban management and community resilience; applying  strategic leadership skills in practical challenging situations...
