VISITING AND WORKING WITH THE RESEARCH INSTITUTES IN HANOI

 To strengthen relations of cooperation with scientific research institutions in the provinces in the country, from July 5 to December 8, 2012, HIDS had a visit and work with the institutes in Hanoi.

In the morning of Dec 5th 2012, HIDS had the formal meeting with Vietnam Institute of Architecture, Urban and Rural Planning (VIAP) - Ministry of Construction (MOC). At the meeting, two parties exchanged some contents related to: planning construction of Hanoi by 2020, vision to 2030; Some experience in the verification of approval planning, etc; Some difficulties in the management of Hanoi as preserving villages, protecting green belt of  Nhue river... After the meeting, the delegation visited the building model of Hanoi at the National Exhibition Conference Centre.

The same day, the delegation had a meeting with the Hanoi Urban Planning Institute. The content of the meeting is arround exchanging experience in zoning. Six major issues in the formulation of zoning in Hanoi are: Distribution of the population, the distribution of the population for each zone, functional areas, spatial organization, framework of infrastructure and Designing urban and environment.

On 12/06/2012, the delegation visited and worked with the Hanoi Institute For Socio – Economic Development Studies (HISEDS). The two parties discussed the socio-economic situation in 2012 of two major cities Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; exchanged experience in the formulation of the master plan of socio-economic of the two cities; exchanged some scientific contents that 2 institutions can cooperate in the future.

The same day, the delegation visited and worked with a number of companies in Phu Nghia Industrial Park, located in Chuong My district, Hanoi.
