To be able to find solutions to minimize the limitations of public transport in Ho Chi Minh city, the workshop "The model of organization and management of public passenger transport in HCM City" was held at the Institute for Development Studies on the morning November 18^th 2011.

With the chairmanship of Deputy Direcctor Dinh Son Hung, seminars attracted the participation of first-rat researchers HIDS, representatives of departments  and relevant agencies such as Department of Transportation, Department of Planning and Architecture, Construction Department, Department of the Interior, Department of Finance, Management authority for urban railways, Management and Administration of public passenger transport Center, especially the World Bank representatives and some experts from the U.S., Singapore, India, China.
